Madame Web

Role

| Costume Development Manager, supersuits

For Madame Web, I led the development of the film’s supersuits from a remote office, working independently from the central design team. This required translating creative direction into technical development while maintaining consistent communication across time zones through digital channels and shared asset platforms.

I managed the primary external vendor responsible for building the suits, overseeing collaboration between soft goods pattern makers and 3D artists working on hard-surface components. I ensured both disciplines aligned to meet performance requirements for high-mobility, stunt-ready costumes.

Material innovation was a key focus. I partnered with specialty vendors to develop a custom screen-printing technique that visually referenced leather but delivered the stretch, retention, and durability needed for action wear. All materials were tested for flexibility, adhesion, and visual consistency on camera.

In Los Angeles, I led a small sourcing team, coordinating fabric research and procurement under a reduced budget. The project required creative problem-solving and design thinking at every stage to maintain quality and performance under tighter-than-usual cost constraints.
