The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part I & II
Role
| Costume Development Associate
Supported the technical execution of large-scale costume builds for a globally recognized dystopian franchise. As Costume Development Associate, I worked closely with the Costume Development Manager to manage sourcing, prototyping, and quality control for over 1,000 military-style uniforms and custom assets. Collaborated across internal and external teams to ensure materials, builds, and fittings met design intent, durability standards, and intense on-set conditions.
Tracked wardrobe across three simultaneous film units, including overnight and 24-hour shoots, maintaining continuity and readiness across shifting production timelines. Contributed to specialty prototyping efforts for narrative-specific finishes—such as stone washing, pigment dyeing, and distressed surface treatments—designed to visually reinforce worldbuilding and story context. The visual identity developed for screen laid the foundation for consumer-facing adaptations across franchise merchandise and licensing.
